Never Again

Never Again is a series of political posters created in response to Nepal's Gen Z uprising of September 2025. For three decades, the prime ministership of Nepal rotated almost exclusively between three figures: Sher Bahadur Deuba, K.P. Sharma Oli, and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, known as Prachanda. All three faced persistent allegations of corruption and nepotism across their successive administrations, while public trust eroded and the country cycled through government after government without completing a full term. In 2025 alone, more than ten corruption cases emerged involving former prime ministers, ministers, and bureaucrats. When Nepal's young people took to the streets that September, they were not just protesting a single policy. They were rejecting a political class that had treated power as a birthright. Each poster places one of the three figures against a field of red, the word "NEVER" filling the space behind them in fractured, colliding letterforms, with "AGAIN" set small beside them, a quiet but absolute demand. The blank white eyes used across all three are not stylistic decoration. They represent leaders who looked at their country and saw nothing but wealth for themselves.
